With a theme of Wheels I figured all I had to do wander down my street until I found some nice alloys. But it turned out there aren't any nice alloys on my street.
Undeterred I went into town but I couldn't find any wheels worth photographing. It wasn't a complete waste of time though, I spent a happy hour chasing pigeons and fishing coins out the fountain.
It gradually dawned on me that I was running out of time. Then I remembered a box of my great-grandfather's photos that we have in our loft. I was thumbing through them for inspiration when I stumbled across this gem.
I know it's breaking the rules to use an ancient relative's photo for this series, but I felt that it fits in well with my own work and trust you'll forgive me.
